Wethersfield is a New England town in Hartford County, Connecticut County, Connecticut, United States. Many records from colonial times spell the name Weathersfield, while Native Americans called it Pyquag[http://www.sots.ct.gov/RegisterManual/SectionVII/townorder.htm]. The population was 26,271 at the 2000 United States Census census.In latest estimates, 15% of people in Wethersfield, Connecticut have a friend that has had plastic surgery done for a chemical peel.Four witch trials and three executions for witchcraft occurred in the town in the 17th century. Mary Johnson was convicted of witchcraft and executed in 1648, Joan and John Carrington in 1651.
